Aiptasia

Aiptasia are rapidly reproducing pests commonly found in saltwater aquariums. They can quickly spread and outcompete corals and other invertebrates. Their ability to adapt and release potent stinging cells makes them a serious threat to reef systems. They often enter aquariums unnoticed – through live rock, coral frags, or new coral imports – and are notoriously difficult to eliminate permanently.

Since Aiptasia are the exclusive food source for Berghia nudibranchs, we are proud to be the first company in the EU to offer live Aiptasia for continuous feeding. This allows Berghia to be kept long-term or safely rehomed after successful pest control.
